Startup & Preflight checklists

Featured Replies

Hello...My first time here, and first time with Fly 2.. and I am so impressed with it.I wanted to know if there was any startup & preflight checklists for the aircraft in the game? Or is there a generic one for all? I have the European version and I have patched up to build 230.I was so amazed that you had the option to do the whole startup procedure.. so realistic! I know the startup is done by pressing E, but I kinda liked to have a go myself. Thanks in advance,Karl

I think you bring up the checklist by pressing "K" on the keyboard.I'm not sure of this but give it a try. There also be some checklists in the fly library.Johnny"I'LL BE BACK"[div align=center]http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/josve/fly2/vas.gif][/div

Karl,Just press "K" once you are in the cockpit. This will bring up comprehensive prestart, startup, shutdown, and post-shutdown checklists. Press "K" again to close the list window. You may also want to download the Advanced Checklist program by Tony Crider from the File Library. This allows you to build your own checklist for each aircraft (customize them) to be even more realistic.I can't recall whether the full manual was included with the European version. If not, all of the Fly!II manuals (and the combined manual) are available as PDF files - also in the File Library. You may also want to search the File Library for more comprehensive checklists that persons may have posted.
