Question on Normandy Coastline Edges

Featured Replies

I've been flying over Normandy and Brittany since installing ROTW's wonderful TerraScene "photoreal" ground textures. I noticed this "jagged" Normandy coastline. Anyone else having this problem? ROTW: Any plans to customize the scenery this far east?Thanks.-DK----David KohlFly! II v230Dell 8200 P4/1.8G, 1024MB RAM, Nvidia GF4 Ti4600 v30.82, WinXP Home Edition.CH Pro Pedals and Yoke USB.

So this means the problem is in the default Fly! database. Thus, ROTW or anyone else with European TerraScene skills - how about filling in more of the Normandy coast with TerraScenes? I know its not trivil in Europe, as it is in the States. But the flying experience in France improves daily with all the TerraModels airports. The recent DINARD and AVRANCHES TerraScenes make it even a better place to fly. Adding Paris (default) to the mix.... -DK----David KohlFly! David,It's not so much that the databases are wrong, as the fact that there doesn't appear to be any coastline polygons defined for this tile. It's not soooo dificult to 'mend' this, but it is time consuming.Colin

I have zero appreciation for this type of development, but I trust its a time-consuming job. So many thanks to anyone who takes the task at hand....-DK----David KohlFly! II v230Dell 8200 P4/1.8G, 1024MB RAM, Nvidia GF4 Ti4600 v30.82, WinXP Home Edition.CH Pro Pedals and Yoke USB.
