After using Fly II on my mac for over a year , I finally decidedto try the pc version on my brand new pc.The pc version was installed, and pached up to 230 and finally 250/240.Terrascenery 2.1 and Terramodels 2.1 was also installed without any problems. The sim loads fine, but crashes short after take-off, leaving a black screen with following message:

I believe the Osprey file is used to load the bird flocks which you occasionally see (but rarely). I tried to do a search on some of the posts regarding this issue, but there is just too much trafic right now.I think someone mentioned you can get by this issue by disabling the birds in the fly.ini file.Try setting numBirdFlocksPerQuadTile=0 and see if that stops the problem.
