Fly! Ontario Mac Fix

Featured Replies

I know this post seems a bit out of place, but I figured this would be the best place to post it. Since most of the Fly! Ontario team probably doesn't visit the Mac forum often, I had to ask here.Back in the days of Fly! 2k, when the Fly! Ontario Scenery was released, there was a problem that caused the scenery to crash near the Toronto area. This problem was specific to the mac. If I remember correctly this issue was fixed with a small patch. However, I was unable to find it in the AVSIM file library or searching the forums. If anybody could help with this, I'd really appreaciate it. Thanks,

Jim,thanks a lot for the reply, I thought this post would get swallowed in the forum. This is really strange to me, but I remember once when the scenery was released, getting an email from a member of the Fly! Ontario team, and attached to it was a small fix that solved the problem. I may be going crazy, but I'll ask others in the Fly! Mac forum to see if they agree.I know for sure that I've flown out of CYYZ without crashing, and I actually got to see the 3D models. Hope we can sort this out. Thanks,

It's been so long. If you remove the wigwaga, litehouse models and make sure all the same model filenames are in both the Toronto and Niagara scenery I think it will work.Something along that line. As I say, it's been awhile. http://members.rogers.com/jkanold/jimlogo.gif
