Gps in Cessner 172

Regardless what airport I start from the GPS shows San Fransisco. For a while it showed the correct airport but then it reverted to San Francisco

This is a bug in the Fly!II GPS, but it's a mild one - it always shows your startup airport as the current location, even if you load a flight plan to start at a different location. In your case, your startup airport must be SFO.Simply click on the FPL symbol to switch to the Flight Plan display and it will display the proper location.

Thanks. I appreciate all the help I have had. I am just returning to using the sims after a 18 month hiatus

Also, I believe that if you launch Fly! 2 with the FlyStart utility, the GPS will reflect the correct airport (if memory serves).

You are correct. This is b/c FlyStart actually writes the startup airport into Fly.ini and then launches Fly!2. But as posted above, if you switch startup airports later be creating a flight plan, the GPS will remain on the airport where Fly!2 launched.-DK----David KohlFly!
