Michael,I think I'll make it a point to go outside & get some digital pics of the surrounding topography (using no camera zoom!) for some actual comparisons. Might even get some from the airport view next door. Would be interesting................... if nothing else..L.Adamson

Thank you for that info. I also tried the suggested zoom levels by users and it really depends on what terrain you are around. I am zomming in and out around plains and valleys from .3 to .7-lately I'm flying quite a bit in Switzerland.At least now I'll be starting out with a more acceptable zoom level than the default.Thanks for your help all!http://turnhead.com/dot/alex/banner-stroke.gif
