January 29, 200323 yr any help appreciated -- I continue to have problems with airport/nearby textures shimmering on approach to the field. While the local environment seems "normal" from afar, on short final the textures off in the distance start to shimmer. Doesn't happen every time, but often, and almost exclusively at night. Any particular comments? PIII/1Gig system, 512 RAM, 64 meg GeForce II card. thanks. Greg.

January 30, 200323 yr Try lowering the miplevelcount - one unit at a time.
Ken Salter (aka SaltyDog)
Fly! Forum Moderator[link:members.ud.com/services/teams/team.htm?id=5E79C613-0A60-4A3B-BDC1-F9EE49F2D4FE]Join the AVSIM Online Cancer Fight!!
