April 11, 200323 yr With the addition of the Toledo area global tile, this TerraScene 2.1 project pack brings the Ohio Project up to 7 tiles. This northwest Ohio area tile centers on Toledo, extending to the east to adjoin the Marblehead tile and into the north into Michigan, picking up Monroe, Adrian and the southern part of Detroit. A portion of Canada and Lake Erie are also included, with the Canadian areas created with low resolution DCW shapefile data.Tiger Census shapefile data update the USGS information to include new water, roadway, and landscape details - all data files, including a custom water mask, are included.Toledo Express Airport area: http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e9702885d09a340.jpg In the middle of the Detroit River is Grosse Ile Airport - it is on the southern tip of the Island of the same name. Chris Ward has a KONZ scenery set available in the Avsim file library. I have added a grass underlay for the airport - it is included with the Toledo project: http://ftp.avsim.com/dcforum/User_files/3e9703c35eb3005e.jpg Please follow the enclosed Readme.doc carefully - it is easy to do, but there are some different settings required for this pack! April 11, 200323 yr Author Steve,It's a lot easier to produce an area like this when the main component is USGS data. Mixing the add-on shapefiles took a little time, but it worked out OK.The biggest time consumer was editing the water mask (a lot of ills covered by that mask!) and figuring out a way to include the day tile edit in the render pack. April 11, 200323 yr Author I realized that there is a small error in the descriptive text file! For those of you who wish to use the ONZ aiport underlay, you must be upgraded to the beta v240 patch level. Randall Rocke
