April 19, 200323 yr Just uploaded the first of many aiports for the Ohio Scenery Project. Bolton Field (TZR) about 15 miles soutwest of Columbus, Ohio. This scenery includes the airport Terramodeled scenery, taxiways, and the surrounding area out to about 5 miles. http://bartsflyplace.tripod.com/tzr1.gif [br] http://bartsflyplace.tripod.com/tzr2.gif [br] http://bartsflyplace.tripod.com/tzr3.gif [br][br]I flew the troop up here last Saturday night for dinner. JP's BBQ is right on the field, not a bad place to eat. Visibilty for the flight was awsome, we could see downtown Columbus from about 20-25 miles out. Best approach is to tune BOUTN NDB, turn 048 and ride the ILS to runway 4. The airport is Class D until 730 PM est so be sure to call the tower on approach!Once I get the surrounding areas around TZR, OSU, CMH done hopefully there won't be to many scenery voids in the area. Going to try and get some of downtown Columbus built when I do CMH.Enjoy and many more Ohio/Northern Eastern Kentucky/Southeast Indiana airports on the way!!c ya :-waveBart [email protected]http://bartsflyplace.tripod.com/pics/ryans...ight/flight.gif http://bartsflyplace.tripod.com/bart_logo3.jpg
