Thanks to Randall, I've re-TerraScened the Grand Canyon with his "New Red" textures. Thought I'd share.-DKhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/40635.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/40636.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/40637.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/40638.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/40639.jpg----David KohlFly! Thanks A Million, I have done this before ,, But not like this :)Jeff

David,That really looks good! Since you're kind of my "beta tester" on this, can you answer a couple of questions?1. How does the resolution appear in these reddish textures in comparison to the original textures...the same?...softer?2. Did you use the "New Canyon Reds" or the "Sedona Reds" pak? Thanks again for posting!

Randall:1 - Textures seem fine. Its hard to compare without having them side-by-side (which I don't have). But they look nice. 2 - I used "New Canyon Reds"Overall, I think these are very nice, but what I'm really desparate for are the powerful rock-jutting images of the real Rockie Mountains. While I don't have any really good Canyon photos, you can see the level of "jaggedness" in the attached - taken from 33K feet above the Colorado Rockies in early May on a flight home from the Bay Area. The snow wouldn't fit for the Grand Canyon, but the jaggedness of the rocks is what I'm looking for.-DK----David KohlFly! What Subdivide Tolerance did you use for the Grand Canyon area?
