February 17, 200422 yr Hi Guys!Im being given a G-Force Plus Multi Directional Flight Yolk.Does anyone have this, and does it work with XP? The person who has it now has ME!!!Just wondering if its any good?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/63361.jpg SteveWebsite is now being updated!!!http://mysite.freeserve.com/ysomdesign/index.html http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/steve.jpg
February 18, 200422 yr Steve, I am going back some years, perhaps 10 years. the G-force was a good looking yoke, but the rubber feet made it very unstable, give its heavy weight. It's not very precise, especially for pitch, but if you have an analog joyport( not a usb) , it should work fine. tony
February 18, 200422 yr Not familiar with this yoke - when I took a look at the Suncom specs page, it listed compatibility with NT & 2000 along with the usual Win 9x variants. I guess I would try the 2000 drivers first. Randall Rocke
February 18, 200422 yr this yoke has 3 simple potentiometers, one for throttle, one for pitch and one for roll. If xp supports analog sticks, or if there's a sound card with a joyport, it should work. There are no buttons on this yoke, so there's no need to worry about special drivers .tony
February 18, 200422 yr Thankyou guys for the heads up on this product. All the best, Steve.Website is now being updated!!!http://mysite.freeserve.com/ysomdesign/index.html http://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/steve.jpg
February 20, 200422 yr Got it today and works great. This must be different from what you remember as it does have buttons, 6 in all. But it was easy setting it all up.Cheers, Steve.www.wrexhamspace.com Soon!
