January 24, 200521 yr hi Roger.Looks nice.If that's the Jabiru microlight,we have a dealer at the local airport.Also popular up here.So long.Janhttp://www.avsim.com/hangar/fly/dfdg/bannerjh.jpg
January 24, 200521 yr Author G'day Jan,Yep that's the same mob. There is a stretched version (isn't there always) that is a four seater and powered by the larger (3300 cc) six cylinder engine. What makes the Jabiru stand out in the crowd is that they actually manufacture both the airframe and engine. Off the top of my head I cannot recall any other aircraft that can boast this. The engine has been so successful that it is being used by a few different kit plane manufacturers to power their aircraft. I thought the Jabiru would make a good first up model subject due to it's simplicity. Anyway it's just me mucking around (practising) with TrueSpace. :-) Cheers, Roger http://forum.avsim.net/public/styles_images/flags/au.png
