ATR first test flight comments

Featured Replies

Have experienced difficulties mentioned, but find like with most things the ATR just needs getting used to. The startup is a lot more complicated than I am used to, but reading the manual provided, has managed to keep me in the air, so on the whole am very impressed with this plane and no doubt many problems will be ironed out in due course. Thank you Jean and the team again for a satisfying plane, just love the sound of the engines when I have the earphones plugged into the speakers.Lesdimo

Aside from a more than sensitive, rudder/front wheel behavior during the take off roll, the suspension may be a bit too sensitive. The suspension may be ok technically correct, but given the touchy front wheel behavior during the takeoff roll, a stiffer suspension would be helpful.
