How To Use GPS in Peregrine 800 TR ?

Featured Replies

Can someone send a user guide showing How To Use GPS in Peregrine 800 TR ? Also would like to know how to tune in an ADF signal, and how to set up cabin pressurization for high altitude flight. Any other tips and tricks are welcome. Thanks. My email: [email protected]

G'day hsk01945??,The Hawker 800 was victim of a flight sim being pushed out the door before it was ready. Not much works of the GPS but still enough to get by with.1. Switch the unit on (on-off/dim) button2. press the "Accept" button.3. Then you only have the choice of selecting either NAV or FPLNothing else works :-) but both units work so I fly with the Captains FMC selected to NAV and the first officers to FPL.To get info into the FMC you create a flight plan in the flight planner menu. Then when you start the flight plan the info is automatically entered into the FMC.For Pressurisation. On the ground : -1. set desired cabin altitude. ( 8000ft. maximum )2. set desired rate of change. ( 300 ft / min typical )3. open both engine bleed air valves4. SELECT dump valve CLOSED. ( the valves will remain open until the MLG oleo's extend. )5. @ TOD redo steps 1 & 2.That's all . Enjoy your flying.Cheers,Roger
