September 5, 200619 yr The default ATC does not seem to work in my 2.5.240 Fly2! version. Therefore I have two questions:1. How is default ATC activated2. What files/maps are used / should be present in the Fly II! - directory? Thanks in advance,Duzz.
September 6, 200619 yr G'day Duzz,Sorry to hear you are having problems. You haven't given much to go on so I'll just take a general look at ATC.1. If you have Fly! II patched to 240 then ATC should work fine.2. If your flight involves IFR then you must make a flight plan first. 3. you of course need to have the radios ON #1 Com4. For VFR flight the ATC menu is displayed on and off by the " ~ " key on the left side of the #1 key on the main keyboard.Open the Fly.ini file ( it's in the systems folder) in notepad and check that the following variables are set to =1[sIM] useFactoryATC=1[sOUND] useATCSounds=1[ATC] showATCScrollingText=1If any of them are set to 0 just set them to 1 and resave the Fly.inifile back to the systems folder. Also go to the OptionsKeys and ButtonsMenuGlobal and check that the < ~ > (tilde) key and keys are mapped to the ATC functions.Hope this helps , if problems still exist come back to the forum.Cheers,Roger Cheers, Roger http://forum.avsim.net/public/styles_images/flags/au.png
