Runways Placing

Featured Replies

Kinda quiet here tonight.... But I'm curious about something. Has anyone came up with the ability to place runways? There are alot of the smaller airports across the the Usa and I'm sure across the world that havent got existing runways in FlyII. I remember someone mentioning back in the early days of the Beta test that they were working on this. I havent messed around with Terrascene very much. Are you able to do this with Terrascene? I would like to place a runway at small airport where I lived for nearly 26 years. There is a actual runway there but it isnt implemented in FlyII. This is why I' asking. TonyWhy Oh .... Tony,To create a new airport and runways, you need to learn how to edit the database. Some of us are working on a comprehensive tutorial on this, but in the meantime, check out the Database Mini-Tutorials post at the top of the Developer's forum page. There is also a database tutorial from myself and Colin that is posted on Salty's web site and I believe someone recently posted another tutorial in the file library, though it dealt mainly with ILS-editing.
