Request for DCA/IAD taxiways and buildings

Featured Replies

That's correct. Actually, any custom scenery will display without any version of cities.pod. The cities_noNY_noDC.pod will allow other users to still have the remaining default TRI scenery display, without the generic NY and DC airports scenery.-----------------------Scott CannizzaroPPASEL-KTEB

Thank you to EAGLE for some terrific work. While not 100% true to the real thing, the models make landing and taking off from Washington a pleasure. And the taxiway fix at DCA makes that airport usable. Now I've got to generate some TerraScenery....Thanks. -DK----Fly! Thanks DK you are right the airport is not 100% accurate. My objective is to provide scenery for those airports that have nothing. I don't like FLYing into airports with no scenery or taxiways. If someone wants to create buildings for the airports they can be added to the scenery. I don't have the time to do it nor do I have the talent, but we do have people within the FLY community who can.I have no objection to others creating scenery for those airports that I have worked on. If uploaded I will have mine removed.I would be interested in knowing how the framerates for DCA worked out. I was concerned that the sim slowed down, at least on my computer I had that problem. The scenery should be framerate friendly and if it isn't I can do something about it.Keep FLYing

I had no problem at KDCA with framerates. I haven't flown to IAD yet - was planning on it last night but didn't have time. On new airports to model - how about KSEA or KSJC? -DK----Fly! II v230Dell 8200 P4/1.8G, 512MB RAM, Nvidia GF4 Ti4600 v28.83, WinXP Home Edition.CH Pro Pedals and Yoke USB.

DK - I saw your post on KSEA and KSJC, in fact it follows this one.Yes I can provide scenery and have just about completed KSEA. If that is all you want I can also give you scenery for KSJC. Are there any others in the USA?Keep FLYing
