KMA24 Audio panel mic switch fix

Recommended Posts

I have noticed that the KMA24 audio panel in the Flyhawk and Pilatus (and ROTW's PA28) work fine but the same instrument used in the Malibu and Navajo (also used in ROTW's TBM) won't allow switching to a different mic source. Is there a fix posted somewhere or is there a way to fix it myself. I am going online to look for a panel modifying program compatible with FlyII after writing this. Thanks in advance... I'm really loving this program! Downloaded and tried out C4TO lastnight, so far very nice.Zane

Zane,Just download the following three files and put them in your Fly! IIData folder.http://members.cox.net/aamigorena/TRI200.PNLhttp://members.cox.net/aamigorena/MALI00.PNLhttp://members.cox.net/aamigorena/TBMMAIN.PNLThe problem was that the .pbm file (the bitmap) and the location were missing. You can later unpod and repod each plane replacing the original files with the ones above.Let me know if you have any problems.Alejandro AmigorenaCheshire, CTFly! Thanks for the quick response Alejandro. Each of those links opens a webpage... do I save each one as text and name them with .pnl extensions? Not familiar with FlyII workings yet.Thank you again,Zane

Zane,If you left-click on those links, it should ask you to save the file and should retain the file name. If you right-click and select Save Target As... then you should also be able to save the files. Either way, save them directly into your Fly! II/data folder.Make sure that searchPodFilesFirst is set to =0 your fly.ini located in the system folder. Otherwise it will ignore these files.Good luck!Alejandro AmigorenaCheshire, CTFly!
