Ch control Yoke

Featured Replies

Hello all I just found this part of the forum. I have FlyII but have not flown for a l;ong time because the settings are for joystick for prop and mixture was backwards and was unable to save the settings as I wished. This was several years ago. I e mailed the developer and was told that fly was not supported on win xp pro. I really loved the reality of this sim is there anything I can do to get this up running properly? Thanks Dan I also have Fly 2k which would be better to run on xp pro?

Hi,Fly!11 runs perfectly well on XP Pro as do Fly! and Fly!2K.I don't know who told you otherwise but it wouldn't have been the main developers who were very active in this forum. There were some video card issues with Windows 2000 but not with XP Pro.I don't personally have a control yoke but there are plenty of people on here who do.You may find that your question will be better answered on the main Fly!11 forum, rather than here in the developer's forum.Colin

Though I do not use them yet, there are many Fly!ers that use the CH yoke and peddles - I understand they work very well. For those that have issues, I believe there are work-arounds. I would suggest you post in the Fly! General Forum, as this is the Developer forum for technicals aspects of development of Fly! models, scenery, etc. You will be more likely to get a response in the General forum, as there are many more persons that check into that area.I can certainly say that WinXP Pro has nothing to do with the issue, unless the drivers you are using currently are not compatible with XP.
