How's the London region comming along? Wish I had some skills to help in some development but I don't.Wish u all clear skies and smooth landings!/Jimmi -
June 1, 200224 yr Hi Jimmi,FU3 remains as realistic and exciting as was intended to be from the very beginning, when it came out way well ahead of its time, since the PCs were limited to 200-300Mhz; but now, with P4 at 2Mhz and RDRAM memories, FU3 flies really fast with maximum settings and at 1024x728 resolution!!!. So you have perfect scennery, real weather with lighting bolts, snow, rain, crosswinds and jet drafts to test your skills, exact sky "presentation", with seasons and sun and moon shades, planets, stars and constellations as real as it gets!!. And sounds...well, get close to cruise ships in Puget Sound and you'll hear the music and party going on; or stay on hold. before takeoffs to hear the engines and feel the turbulence of landing planes. Get in front of traffic to receive pilot slams!!....etc.Now at this Forum, many clever and interested participants are contributing daily enhancements that are raising the level of realism of FU3 with new complex aircrafts, repaints, scenery additions and enhancements, extra sounds, moving models, and utilities to enable further improvements and keeping ahead of the ......(not really competition).I keep my FS-2002 and everyone of the many simulator boxes I have purchased (all of them) on the shelves!!.So, come in please and enjoy real flying!!!
