April 1, 200323 yr Dear fellow FU3 developers,Just a short note to tell you that Matthew Allen, creator of i.Mage has released an update on his site:http://www.memecode.comFor those that are unaware, iMage is a freeware grahics editing program that allows creation, editing and conversion of images using the PSP palette, as used by FU3. This makes it particularly handy for creating model textures using the original FU3 sanfran or seattle palettes. You get more predictable results from 'makemip' or 'fixmip' as the image is already colour-corrected - no nasty surprises ;)It is also indispensable for creating new aircraft liveries as you can create a 'best-fit' palette, based on your 16 or 24-bit images to make the most of the available 256 colours. Trying to create an original livery using existing palettes can be disappointing :-(Of course, PSP does all this but it's not free and who wants to spend more than they did on FU3 just to edit palettes anyway?Download link:http://www.memecode.com/data/image-win32.exeHave fun now, :-waveJon Point*************************([email protected])*************************
