Well that turned out to be a complete bust for me, I couldn't log on no matter what I tried. I assume it was something to do with the disk failure on the forum server or was I just being inept?

Yes, the chat system runs on the same box as the forum server and so was knocked out too.--M

Glad others had promlems logging on to the chat. I thought it was me. 40mins of trying.:-mad

Cheers for your efforts. We should probably not schedule chats for the same day as a server death in the future :-)

I had the evening off and tried to log on but we all know why it didn't work. At least we got this forum back in pristine condition :-)Hans Petter
