June 20, 200322 yr I agree, Jon.(When I released my balloon, with some 600 polygons, it was a bit too detailed, and it floated up into AVSIM land before being pricked by the dreaded stuttervision. I was most deflated - that sure brought me back to earth with a thud. But for a simpler balloon, the sky's the limit.)We're not making a train sim where every track sleeper must be separately detailed - impressions are more important. At least until our computers are a bit faster ...RobD.PS Jon, you have no idea how difficult it is to check out scenery in a turboprop. But I just can't put it away at the moment - I love its profile on finals - high nose, long u/c, flaps down. This is a very nice chunk of aircraft. Now I just need a way of turning on a wing at 150 knot, without it flopping onto its back.So with the new scenery (which is starting to begin to look really close!), don't be surprised at a few smoking holes around the landscape. Put it down to scenery development.Andavagreatweegendyouall. (Welsh for "Enjoy the weekend").
