July 1, 200322 yr I'll check "my" Baron and see if I need the "hasCarb" fix. As heavy is concerned this depends on number of pax. It's quite easy to overload a small plane as the Baron and the flight dynamics vary considerably with load. Incorrect loading (aft loading) aside, do we want to model empty planes or do we want to model a realistic load? It would be a good idea to have two different Barons in each ones plnpile, one flying empty and the other one carrying three passengers and their baggage. Hans Petter
July 2, 200322 yr Dear All,Sorry, had to put my two bob's worth in (again!)...I know what you mean about critical loading. Many times as a child I was relegated to the 'dicky seat' in the QueenAir. At least once, a (large) passenger was refused after boarding because the pilot felt the nosegear 'bobbing' as he started the engines. Seems that airport staff had either not asked his weight or he had lied about it (he was HUGE). Other times, all the bags were unloaded from the nose and engine compartments with the pilot running around the luggage, 'weighing' it by hand. All the heaviest stuff went back into the nose. It worked the other way too - when the aircraft was lightly loaded (;):-waveJon Point*************************([email protected])*************************
July 2, 200322 yr Daniel,Thanks but I'm here most every day. I just haven't had the time lately to participate as much as I would like. Good to see you too.
