How to make trains do three point turns? ;( I've always found it difficult to hide my trains turning around. (They have to turn because FLED doesn't allow me to run models backwards). I managed to hide most of the GEX turnarounds in Waterloo station, although its a little weird watching Waterloo when this happens - the train's backside sticks out through the wall. I need a smaller train or bigger station. But how do you hide a train turning around on an elevated railway?Hmm, maybe if I extend the track up to Stansted and loop back to the start ...Luc, you have done very well here. The whole area is very beautiful.RobD.

Its a good idea to let people know where you are working - it helps other people choose what to do next. I am currently rebuilding Stansted. I have no other plans for now for new packages. Luton's available, Biggin's Hill, Farnborough etc. - there are plenty more! Thanks too for the tip about renaming the Cardiff runway and about deleting the mod files. This all helps. The moving model with no object suggests that Luc has a BIN model that has not been uploaded, possibly a bus or car. Or a newschp. The ATIS frequency of 128.825 is useable if you dial up one of the other Cardiff frequencies first, then use ALT-f to select the ATIS.I get complete AI traffic as upgraded by Ansgar. Something might be wrong with your installation agtim. It really is getting time for an upgrade disk! But maybe we can get Cardiff's minor bugs fixed up, Stansted's major bugs fixed up, and Lydd uploaded! (Rob, how are you today?) - then very nicely ask Cristian to put it all together ...Anything else we need to do? Of course - get agtim's magic programs done, the NW coastline mapped (that's extraordinary - I have to organise a sabbatical in Switzerland to work out how he does all this, but I think I've already booked a few months with the Glidernut Gliding School to work out why my variometer is always pointing down :-).RobD.

Lydd hopefully will be completed at the weekend. I know I have been saying that for a long time, but you note, I never say which weekend.:-)I have to sort my "Crash to Desktop" problem out to ensure its not the package causing it, add the pylons back at the end of the runway (yes, got to avoid them on takeoff)and find something to put at the "naked" other end of the runway and that's it.As for an update CD......yes please. A wish list would be that it contains all the up to date airports, models, fixes, AI, planes etc. for UK South.Even higher on the wish list would be that it runs automatically e.g. put it in, select what you want to install (some people won't want all the planes, London Heavy etc.)and away it goes, removing all whats not needed and installing the new packages.I don't know how difficult this would be, but it would mean that everybody has a clean up to date install. Does anyone have the knowledge to do this? For my part, I am more than happy to run off copies and ship them to key players in the various countries who could then distribute to interested parties in a chain mail fashion.Andy

Hello Rich,if you make an updated version of Stansted did you really plan to hold that old frequencies? I assume it would be more clever to change it to frequencies that can simply be adjusted (+/-0.05 and not "finer").Simply remember that there are often a lot of new users which doesn

I'm getting names mixed up here - Andy for Lydd, RobS for Brize Norton, RobD (me) for OPH (Old People's Home). Sorry Andy.If you want easy frequencies rather than exact frequencies, fine. No problems with that - I will round down as you suggested. Cristian's photos of Stansted are a mixed blessing - they show more detail than I had before, but they have substantially changed the airport over the aerial photos I started with! The rotters.RobD.

Hi pal, I amndt happy that have has whole, Cardiff likes. I particularly thank those which make has pushed criticism of it, and those which describe the problems puts. Drank has Thanks you also with the others for to their general contribution. Before giving up you for butt fifteen days, I send this small development to you. Concerning the name from the airports, 2 gold 4 character? Having found (have underlines it several among you), of the examples of names to 4 letter in San-Fran, Seattle, and the U.K. seems to me it (Good), I thought that this did not poses has problem. It appears that the discussion is not closed one this subject. Several points (modifications under Fled obviously): Terminal Connect right: It is necessary to make him make has extremity rotation of 180 degrees to hide the transparency of. Radar: I was in the incapacity to make him make rotation complet, in splashes of the instructions. This is, I think, with the height of this one with the signal of the ground. Mobile object missing, around the terminal, truck British P

Hi Glidernut,Your congratulations touch me particularly, thank you. I did not include/understand the direction of last the sentences very well on the trains. Can I suggest you putting the message in your mother tongue, it is not a question myself of English? A translation of your language directly to the mienne will be better. With my friendly greetings. Vos f

Luc, glidernut was saying he is impressed with your trains. He says you could teach me a lot about how trains turn around! My trains do a circle at the end of the track. Your trains reverse properly. How do you do it?(translated from the original ancient Briton by RobD.)

I don't take any credit for this. I only supplied the airport diagrams and built the runway. Even thn I messed up my missing the "0" from the end of the file name.:-eek Well done again Luc, this is a great addition.Andy
