June 4, 200520 yr EndItAll is a utility that closes down all active processes that are not required for keeping the OS running. You may accomplish the same by going Cntrl-Alt-Del and access the task manager. Most of us will be surprised to see the number of active processes, even when we assume that nothing is going on. The more stuff you have installed the more likely you are to have a ridiculous amount of active processes at all times. Further, the more likely you are to have conflicts between various apps. The NT-based OSes are better at parking a process when you close a program. Win95/98/ME, on the other hand, seem to accumulate an ever-increasing amount of memory-sapping junk as you use the PC. A fresh reboot will help and there are also applications that claim to reclaim memory. In any event, it's always a good idea to reboot before you start any sim or game. Further, if your PC is memory-limited a few more sticks of ram may work wonders.regards,Hans Petter
