January 29, 200620 yr Thew new Switzerland is coming along nicely :-)Speaking of poor elevation data, would it be feasible to improve the Seattle region elevation? We have quite a few odd shorelines.Hans Petter
January 29, 200620 yr Author Hi Hans,Yes you can correct the shoreline using GeoTilesViewer md3 export of 60% of a tile and then correct it using GMax - there is a tutorial page for this http://www.agtim.ch/fu3/MD3.php3 redo the full area with the new SRTM_V2 data is too much work for the expected results and the mountain part of Seattle Region will not look much better afterwards - but it's technicaly possible to make it.It will become a must when someone (not me :-)) expand the Seattle region. :-wave agtim
