November 3, 200619 yr Andre,Thanks for the great elevation work ;-)UKS is amazing now!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/160299.jpgThe slight land deformations are really obvious and even small features look better.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/160300.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/160301.jpgAnd the go-kart track is finally back on top of a hill!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/160302.jpgThanks again :-waveRegards,Jon Point
November 4, 200619 yr Hi Jon,So it's working on your machine also, nice to hear :-)Generating the new elevation for UK using NASA SRTM V2 and with the formula to convert the gbos grid system to wgs84 was done in less than a week. The first 2 versions ( DEM Version and SRTM V1 with unedited water areas ) was adapted graphicaly to the texture makes me busy for more than 2 months with moderate result. Those with FSX and VFR Photographic Real Scenery from JustFlight or Horizont will have it too now, but not with the FU3 feeling ;-) and with a longer loading time.I just tried the FSX Demo but the VFR demo did not run on this FSX demo installation, so it was not possible to check it 1:1 with screenshots. I had to watch the video. Anyway I do not migrate, there is still a lot to do with FU3 :-)yesterday I have installed the new UK-Models and Packages from Robert, looks greath :-jumpyDid you find a way how to put working instruments in a cockpit sideview ? :-wave agtim
