June 7, 200224 yr MSI has launched the first KT400 board with AGP 8x and DDR400 support. I've seen the specs on most motherboards based on the KT400 from most manufacturers (ABIT, Asus, Epox, etc) and this MSI KT4 Ultra looks to be the best feature wise. The board also comes default with 2 Serial ATA ports, 6 USB 2.0 ports and thermal shutoff with newer Athlons if heat gets too high (finally). Optional configs come with onboard hardware LAN, 5.1 channel hardware audio from CMedia, onboard Bluetooth and/or 802.11b wireless(!). Here's the link to the announcement:http://www.msi.com.tw/newsrelease/2002_0603_6590.htmSorry for the barage of hardware news today, but a few great things are happening this and next week that really affect flight simmers in particular because of FS being so CPU bound.Take care,http://members.rogers.com/eelvish/elrondlogo.gifhttp://members.rogers.com/eelvish/flyurl.gif
