Flight1 Cessna 421C system requirements?

Hi there,I looked at their site but couldn't find any info regarding minimum system requirements. I was wondering if anyone with a slow(er) system could report how it actually runs on an ancient PC.My main concern is the cockpit view, as long as one of them works pretty smooth I'm happy. Thanks for any info in advance,Cheers,Petehttp://home.neo.rr.com/zaehringer/pipersignature.jpgPIII600,512MB,Win98SE,DirectX8.1,Geforce32DDR(Det.22.80),SBlive(4.06.703)

Pete - I've just installed it on a similar machine (P3/600, 384MB, DX8.1, GF2 Ultra, SB Live) and it works very well. Framerates compared to the default 182S are down 20% with the 2D cockpit, 30% with the VC, and 50% in spot view. Essentially the same as the DreamFleet Archer. The 421C flies very smoothly on this system. No problems at all. (There are five different refresh rates available for the gauges. I'm using the middle choice and haven't tried the others yet but I would expect better performance at a lower setting and somewhat worse in the higher settings).Trip

Trip, thanks for that report. I too have the DF Archer and it performs really good on my old rig. I always have my sliders a little less than 50% (no multitexturing, no AI, no shadows........yea I know, almost sounds like no FS2002 ;-)) since smoothness is important to me.I also have the FSD Commander and Cheyenne, so I guess it's safe to buy this one as well. Thanks again,Peterhttp://home.neo.rr.com/zaehringer/pipersignature.jpgPIII600,512MB,Win98SE,DirectX8.1,Geforce32DDR(Det.22.80),SBlive(4.06.703)
