June 10, 200223 yr On a different note, why would you ever want to risk messing with those .air's? As long as FSD can produce results that MS didn't even plan for, and in some cases boxed right out of the realm of possibility, I wouldn't have the guts to touch S.S.'s air files. Maybe the torque setting is just exactly so right that it works with all the other little pieces to produce that beautiful VMC behaviour.Or maybe changing the turbine temp. base causes the roll rate to reduce...totally illogical, but who knows? The only way they could have done what they did was to find very bizarre ways of accomplishing them, which must mean seemingly unrelated things go together to produce the results.Until I can do what they do from scratch, I'll treat those files like little nuclear bombs. More powerful than they look, and definately not for fiddling with ;)michael
June 10, 200223 yr I have no idea what this is all about. If someone intends to "steal" the air file for commercial reasons or to put it in a plane where it does not belong he will simply buy the plane from the FSD website. If I want to steal the file for commercial reasons this is a small investment. This all seems to be a bit paranoid to me. But dont be bothered. Just go on as you all are used to.Alex
