August 8, 200223 yr Moderator Hi there, sorry to ask again about reinstalling RC but I couldn't find anything in the forum for this particular case.I just got a new PC and carried over my old FS2002 harddrive, however the new FS2002 install is on a newer/faster HD. Can I simply move my RC directories over to my new HD and if so, would you guys be so kind to tell me exactly what directories need to me copied? The "old" install is RC2.2. Also, will I need to install APLC again and were there any other modifications that need to be made to the FS2002.cfg (i. E. cache wave files=0) or any other *.cfg? Any help will be greatly appreciated, as I just can't stand default ATC vectoring!!Cheers,Petehttp://home.neo.rr.com/zaehringer/pipersignature.jpgAthlonXP2000,512MB,WinXP,DirectX8.1,Geforce3TI200(128MB)(Det.29.42),SBlive(4.06.703) I9-13900K, RTX 4090, DR5-6000MHZ, CORSAIR ICUE H150I ELITE, ASUS PRIME Z790-P, THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER GF3 1350W, WIN 11
August 8, 200223 yr It is always best to install Radar Contact from scratch. If APLC is not installed on your system please install it. RC will not work without it.Please read over our Quick Start Guide:http://www.jdtllc.com/quickstart.htmfor any other editing that must be done._________________Rick [email protected] SupportJDT LLC
August 9, 200223 yr Author Moderator Rick, thanks for the link and shame on me. I must have read some outdated install instructions on my harddrive that suggested to install FS2000 again and then later copy everything over to FS2002 (that must have been before v2.2 came out). Now that I've seen the latest documentation I will do exactly that and install from scratch. Thanks again, Cheers,Petehttp://home.neo.rr.com/zaehringer/pipersignature.jpgAthlonXP2000,512MB,WinXP,DirectX8.1,Geforce3TI200(128MB)(Det.29.42),SBlive(4.06.703) I9-13900K, RTX 4090, DR5-6000MHZ, CORSAIR ICUE H150I ELITE, ASUS PRIME Z790-P, THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER GF3 1350W, WIN 11
