Have any of you tried Frolov Oleksiy's Dash 8 panel with Otto?I contacted him in regards to it working with RC ver.3. He has never used RC (shame on him):-lol He would like to know if there is anything that he would need to program, to make it work if it does not.http://www3.telus.net/dport1/Radar_small.gifFS2K2 = The best add-on for = RADAR CONTACT ver.3http://www3.telus.net/dport1/Radar_small.gifhttp://www3.telus.net/dport1/dansig.jpg

Hi Dan,Haven't used it myself but, as ever, with third party panels if they use the default FS2002 autopilot Otto should be able to fly the plane. If they don't he won't. Same as in RC2.All the best,John

I am testing it now and there seems to not be a problem. Not sure what it is not doing or doing for you. Let me know and I will try and help you.

Hi Dan,Did all my testing of version 3 with the PIC 767. As you know from version 2 days, as long as the autopilot is MSFS AP you will have no problems having Otto fly it. For those of us that use the PIC or PSS types of autopilots Otto will just handle the comm freq's.Hope all has been well with you.Bob

I just tried a short test flight with the new version of Frolov Oleksiy's Dash 8 panel, 1.003 just released yesterday (12-1-2002). I am still waiting for the mail man with version 3.0, but using version 2.2 I can tell you that Otto will work the comm's fine (except for the setting the transponder code), but it will not set the heading, course, altitude or speed on this new version of the panel.Steve ParkKSDFWWW.Flightbase2000.com

Well that just bites. So Oleksiy's panel does something different then. I tried it with FSNavigator also and it will not change settings. Where would the difference be that some panels work and some don't? One would think that in the FS2K2 setup you would need to change the same parameters no matter what you did. Then again I am in no way a programmer, so what the heck do I know.http://www3.telus.net/dport1/Radar_small.gifFS2K2 = The best add-on for RADAR CONTACT ver.3http://www3.telus.net/dport1/Radar_small.gifhttp://www3.telus.net/dport1/dansig.jpg
