November 27, 200223 yr Will there be anything similar to the RC Control panel for V3? For some of us it's more convenient to use mouse clicks than keyboard strokes (especially in a dark room on those "night flights"). Didn't see anything in the manual about it but I may have missed it.
November 27, 200223 yr There will be no need for one.RC commands: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 0Sound familiar? ;-) Easy to program buttons on joysticks.Actually the RCv3 keys are whatever you want them to be. They're fully programmable. Just be sure not to conflict unchangable FS keys. However, I'm sure someone will come out with a clickable numeric pad that sends key codes to FSUIPC.
November 27, 200223 yr Thanks, Scott. Couldn't believe it was actually THAT easy. Oh, well... back to the manual...
November 27, 200223 yr Also very eazy to use voice activation using FS2002 Flight Assistant. I completely control RCV3 with my voice never touching the keyboard. You can find the latest version at the URL listed below.Larrywww.thelindercompany.de.vuhttp://www.jdtllc.com/images/RCbeta.jpg
November 28, 200223 yr Stupid question perhaps, but what are the voicecommands your using: "1,2,3, etc"like saying: "one, two, three,.." or the actual commands like "request higher", etcRob "Holland&Holland" de VriesFor accurate and custom made ambient and nature sounds(sets) for Lago's FSSoundscape go to:"What Is It Like to See with Your Ears"
November 29, 200223 yr A mouse-clickable numeric pad does exist for MS ATC and can be download from the AVSIM file library. I have not tested with RC3, so I can't say that it works. Might be worth giving a try.Filename: atc-panel.zip Added: 28th May 2002 Downloads: 1234 Author: Bill Morad Size: 884kb Later,Davidhttp://www.jdtllc.com/images/RCbeta.jpg
November 29, 200223 yr Radar Contact V3 uses the ADV Diplay by Peter Dawson for the control panel. Works very well and there are many more options on this new versiion of RC.Bob Johnson
November 29, 200223 yr David,I don't know. If it's like the others, and the 727 panel, then it just sends codes directly to FS, not FSUIPC.If you find out, please let me know and I'll add it to the Flight Deck page.
