I did my first RC flight from CYXC - CYYC. I'm flying along being directed by some "DP" from England, :-lol when low and behold I hear a call from "Glacier 79 something". Anyways Glacier is the call sign for Central Mtn. Air here in BC and Alberta. I could not believe my ears, the fellow on the radio is a friend of mine who flys for them. I just about bust a gut laughing. It was unmistakable as to who it was I heard. I've listened to him many times as he came into CYXC on the scanner. I will have to phone him tonight and see if he signed a release for the use of his voice. :-lolThe new ver.3 RC is just awsome. You guys have made it so much easier to use. Extremly well done guys. Dan, Even better for me is using the RC generated chatter. My callsign is TCA xxx (Tradewinds Caribbean Airlines ) and with RC chatter I will hear the controller contact "other" TCA aircraft! Totally messed me up one nite when the controller admonished "TCA xxx" that he wasn't receiving the transponder and gave out the numbers. I woke up from my sight seeing and thought...sheeeesh.... better change it, how did it get off? So I changed it and pretty soon the controller was talking to ME!!! Hey, idiot..change your transponder to xxxx ahahahaha I had changed my transponder to the code being issued to the "other" TCA plane. :-) Also, when on the ground at my dep airport, I'll hear RC chatter give taxi instruction to other aircraft and they're being sent to the proper active, voiced by rwy number. :-)Best, Rob
