importing metar files

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,I have some plain-text metar files that I used to use on another sim, is there any way of pointing MSFS2002 at them - or somehow pluggin them in/converting them to the format used by MSFS2002?I've tried to look at them with the demo version of FS-Meteo, but it says it can't - the readme mentions converting them but doesn't say how/with what... They're only for a couple or three weather stations apiece, so I could even convert them by hand if anyone has any hints.Kia ora and T.I.A.BillyI Wish My Shoes Had a Slew Key

You could download and install Real Weather rwx5_0.exe, rwx521up.zip, rwxdb.zip, infom101.zip, and nwea2kv4.zip from this site or www.flightsim.com . Together they use the downloaded METAR text data. If you install FSUIPC, it will cause Real Weather to interface with FS2002.
