First I would like to thank Bruce for his easy to understand seminar on how to change the priority for the sound in RCV3.I see there is mention of changing to Real-Time priority from High priority by changing the batch file from pg to pr.Unsure which priority to use, although I have found a 100% improvement in the speech and speed of the sound since I have implemented Bruce's suggestion.Since the change the only hicup I have found is the simulator will sometime pause just prior to chatter from either the pilot or ATC.I guess what I am asking what should you look for in making the decision to change the priority.Have a very enjoyable Holiday Season.Kenny G.

Ken,Find a reasonable compromise between clar voices and sim speed. Either high (ph) or real-time (pr), whichever works best for both programs. The only other thing to try is using a networked system with WideFS.Also, if you are using Win98/ME, you should consider getting hte DirectX Control Panel applet. Then you can check that DirectSound debug is off.
