>I have some freeware scenery for VRMM Male Intl, so it actualy looks like an island paradise & >not just a M$ blob in the waterHi Hermit, did you need a patch for Zenker's Maldives XMas edition to work in FS2002? And if so, where did you find it?I've only been able to find a good AFCAD for VRMM but no patch mentioned there.ThanksLuigi ;-)

Hi LuigiThat is indeed the scenery I have. No patch needed, I just installed as per normal, added the "flatten/exclude" switch & all works ok. Just a note, The ILS will be slightly offset as the rwy should be 359^ but in the scenery it is 004^. You will need to set scenery to "very dense" to see all the effects.Enjoy!CheersDave

Thanks Dave, maybe did you edit flatten/exclude switch? Maybe i should???The reasons of my question: default scenery bleeds through addon Maldives :-( Main island and Male airport look fine instead.

Moderators, please, forgive me for posting above shots here, but those help a lot in explaining what the trouble look like. Thanks for helpingLuigi ;-)

Hi LuigiI am still tweaking the exclude switch although mainly to stop a small outcrop, about a mile out on appr to rwy 36, from being chopped in half. I had alot of shimering/bleed through, although not as bad as yours!Make sure you have it set-up correctly in your scenery.cfg(Area.xxx)Title=St. MaartenLocal=SCENERYTNCMActive=TRUELayer=xxxExclude=n18 3.1,w63 8.,n18 1.8,w63 5.2,objectsFlatten.0=12.8,n18 3.1,w63 8.,n18 3.1,w63 5.2,n18 1.8,w63 5.2,n18 1.8,w63 8.Remote=Required=FALSE Also setting "Scenery Complexity" & "dynamic Scenery" both to "very" or "extremly" dense gets rid of the bleed through.

Hi Hermit. We were talking about Maldives, not St. Maarten ;-)Can you please email me your tweaked Exclude/Flatten for Zenker's Maldives2001?Thanks in advanceLuigi ;-)[email protected]

DOH! Sorry Luigi, I realy should be paying more attention!Here you go:(Area.xxx)Title=VRMMLocal=sceneryVRMMRemote=Active=TRUERequired=FALSELayer=xxxExclude=N5 00,E73,N4 0,E74,allFlatten.0=4,N5 00,E73 50,N5 00,E73 00,N3 30,E73 00,N3 30,E73 50
