Setting Up FSMeteo

Featured Replies

I realize this is not a FSMeteo site, but I was hoping someone out there is familiar with it and can give me some help since I first heard of it through using RC. I just installed it and want to set it up but am quite confused. I am unfamiliar with the ins and outs of modems and dial up connections, and could not find a dial up networking icon in MY COMPUTER as the manual said. I don't want to mess anything up. I know I have an AOL account, and would like to have the latest weather updated while I am flying. Unfortunately it is hard for me to stay online for a 5 hour coast to coast flight so I would like to activate the autodial option. The instructions say to disable auto dial when using aol. Does this mean I can only use FSMeteo while constantly online? I could have used the default FS Jeppeson dial up for that. Please help. Thanks.
