Dual Proc Support

Featured Replies

I dont know how frequently or recently this topic has been discussed, but I was wondering why MS hasnt made Flight Simulator compatible with dual proc setups? Im not technologically literate enough to know whether it can even be done or not, but my guess is that MS can just about do anything. With this sim being as dependant as it is on processor speed, why not take advantage of technology that is already out there.I just feel like flight sims dont hit their prime until about 6 months before the next version is out because of programming time and the lag between software and hardware. Then focus shifts to the newest version of FS out and all of the great developers focus their attention on the new product. I guess to sum up my post I would say please MS, release an SDK within a month or so of the final product so that developers dont waste precious time figuring things out on their own, and please if at all possible, provide dual processor support for the simmers sake.Craig
