Can not register Radar Contact

Featured Replies

I received my registration code via email this morning. I have followed all instructions to a tee when trying to register. It just doesn't work. I start Radar Contact and I copy and paste my reg. code in the proper box. But when I push the register button nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled RC 4 times. I have the same problem each time.I am sick of trying to get this program working. Can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong. Right now I am very frustrated and feel that I have wasted $44. Bob

Be careful you're not copying and pasting spaces at the end of the code, I had that problem at first.Mark Kuebeler

It's now been a week since I received my CD. I still can not get my copy of Radar Contact to register. I have tried over and over and have followed the manual to a tee. My emails to support have gone unanswered for the past 2 days. I am sorry I wasted $44 on RC. I have asked for a refund but somehow I feel that I will have to dispute the charge with Visa. I get no reponse from tech support. Sad because I've heard this is a great product. Bob

Bob,The RC team are in Denver at the AvSim conference this weekend and probably cannot access the forum messages or tech support. I'm not sure why you can't successfully paste your reg number into RC but when Doug is able I'm sure he'll help you through the process.Rest assured you haven't wasted your money. RC is a great product. I'm sure you'll get a response in a day or two so if you can hold fire until then I'm sure you won't be disappointed.Regards,

bob,We are on dialup out here in Denver so my messages back to you may not be getting through. I replied again to you using my hotmail account with a new key this morning. You sent that jpg picture I requested through another email account. Please check for replies there. I think I may have sent them there by mistake.I am very sorry that we are having trouble communicating. Please try this key:DBGECOHHDKHENCNQIQDLHKDBJHHKOLEL

Thanks for your reply. The new code worked like a charm. I now have a new problem though. I tried 2 flights today and Radar Contact stopped responding on both flights. At both times in the flight it was right after I was told to expect runway XX during approach. I could then hear the default ATC (FS2004) vectoring other planes. But I wasn't acknowledged since my flight had been setup with RC. I tried pressing the proper numbers for the type of approach but nothing happened. RC just wouldn't respond. Any ideas? I'll look in this forum for help also since I just ended the flight and haven't looked here yet. Could it be because I was using a previously saved flight in which I had used default ATC before? Anyway thanks for the new code. Great program for me if I can just solve the above problem.

Glad we got the key problem solved!! Did you ever get any of my emails if yes from which account? For some reason Hotmail accounts have always been difficult for us to communicate with. Being on dialup only over the last week did not help much! Now on to your problem. It sounds like flight simulator is losing focus. The next time this problem happens hover your mouse over anywhere on the screen except above adv display and click your left mouse button.RC should start responding.
