FS Meteo - very different from MS 'Real Weather'?

Is FS Meteo a worthwhile buy for the average user (me)? Does it do much much more than the default facility, or is it limited by what FS2K2 can realistically - and graphically - display?Which of the above interface - if at all - with Flightmax and/or Reality XP equipment? Do a search here on FSMeteo and you'll find some very worthwhile threads.In short: it's worth it if you have even just a casual interest in Real Time weather.
