Green Box Text Problem

Featured Replies

My text in the green box has been displayed incorrectly. For example, instead of it looking like this:1 Weather2 Clearance3 Ground....It is displayed like:1 weat her 2clearancegr3ound....I thought it was because of the text I have with ASV, but I disabled that. Does anyone else have the problems?ThanksBrad

it sounds like a 'word-wrap' problem, is this not an option in AdvDisp? right mouse click on the AdvDisp.... or hold on, did you say 'green box'? do you have Pete Dowson's AdvDisp module installed in your FS9 Modules folder? It is on the RC4 cd-rom i believe otherwise you can download it from www.schiratti.com/dowson/ with this installed you should see all the ATC options as they should be and otherwise check the 'word-wrap' i believe this is a AdvDisp option.

Hi Brad,I'd guess Matthew's right. If you are seeing this in the 'green box' which is part of flight sim you need to install and activate advdisplay. Make sure it is set to multiline only. See p.33 of the manual (I think it is) for more details. All the best,John

i forgot about the activation tip.... only installing it in you FS Modules folder does not help, indeed. go up to your menu bar, under Modules, click on AdvDisp and you should see a new window popup. Right clicking on this new window will give a several options, one being 'Multiline' which is what you will need. other options are to undock it (get rid of the outer borders), match background colours, lock position or hide it (great to use if your are using TextDisplay via a WideFS pc!).let us know if this helps!*the things you get up to at work, when it is quiet.... help out on different forums* hahaha
