Never-ending Heading Corrections!

Featured Replies

I've read the other posts, I've read the manual, and am running FSUIPC 3.52. Flights made using PSS Airbus A321.I ensured that the DP option was enabled before takeoff, because my 1st WP was 60 nm away from the field. All went well until being handed off to center, then for the remainder of the 2 hr flight, I received heading correction calls about every 30-45 seconds. The hdgs given always corresponded to my current hdg,I got the "ding" when passing the WP's, and the FSNav line was always centered. It's driving me crazy! I also tried going direct during the flight to "re-sync" but it did not work. All because the 1st WP was outside of 30 nm?

First thing I'd check is on the 'general' page of RC options. What is the deviation heading set at. I use 15. This is the amount of leeway the controller allows you before telling you you are off course. If it's set to a small value it can cause the problem you describe. All the best,John

Thanks John, I did have a larger value set, will give it a try.

Appears to have solved the problem, thanks again!
