I use FS Navigator to make my flightplans and have made several from VHHH/Hong Kong, my recent flights have all been from runway 07R which is the normal takeoff runway. But when I ask ground for permission to taxi, RC ALWAYS wants me to taxi to 07L which is the normal landing runway and against all the AI traffic taxing to 07R. Althouth this is easy to rectify by asking for 07R it seems a bit strange as FS ATC allways sent me to 07R, have I done something wrong or is this normal for RC in that I have to request the runway in the flightplan.regards Brian Butcher

Hi Brian,RC will normally just look to find a runway which ai are using and choose the first it finds, in this case 07L. It makes no distinction between landings and takeoffs, it's just looking for an active runway so presumably there was traffic landing on 07L. RC doesn't use the runway info in a flight plan.If you want 07R either enter it on the controllers page in RC or request it from ground as you have been doing.All the best,John
