February 2, 200719 yr When I fly say fl 60 as per instructions ATC, I keep receiving a warning that I violate my assigned flight level, I set my QNH as per instructions, I also tried the standard 29,92, but nothing helped.Martin.
February 2, 200719 yr Moderator Hi Martin,If you're assigned to a Flight Level you need to be on Std Pressure not QNH. If you pressed the B button I believe it only sets the pressure to 29.92/1013.2 when above FL180 as this is the Transition Altitude in FAA areas.Either dial 1013.2 on the altimeter or if you have a registered version of FSUIPC you can assign a button to Kohlsmann Reset (from memory). The altimeter is key to this. It shows what the current pressure is set to so you can easily see if it's right or not.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England). February 2, 200719 yr Moderator Hi Martin,Just to clarify the Kohlsman command. You assign a button to Kohlsman Set and enter a value of 16211 in the Parameter field. When you press that button the altimeter pressure is set to 29.92 / 1013.3 irrespective of your location.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England).
