Hmmmm, I noticed a thread from PAI announcing their new "donation" site has disappeared here, but I can't help but comment that this is such a difference between AVSIM and other sites (and the principle reason I'll do whatever I can to help this site and the people who work on it).Oh yes, they will allow you to download for free -- assuming you can get in. Otherwise it's a "donation" (yeah, right). Sigh. It makes this old man even more old and tired feeling.I don't begrudge anyone the chance to make a buck -- hey, I've spent thousands on flight simulator -- but if PAI is going to be a commercial product it had better be a heck of a lot better than it is. As it is, I know I won't be bothering with it.

I personally HATE payware and id never lead my group into being payware.Everyone can download our product for free, but with a bandwith limit, almost like at flightsim.com.
