dc8flightdeck 0 Posted May 10, 2013 This KC-135 was used to test a new fuel system modification but it didnt work and the fuel system was ruined. Repairs would cost too much so the plane was towed from Boeing for display at the museum. Thats the reason for the warning stickers under the wings to not use any of the fuel system for spare parts.
