Ralph Hollis - Chief Pilot - DSV-1 Alvin

Alvin, otherwise known as Deep Submergence Vehicle 1, was "flown" for many years by Ralph Hollis. While I was at ORE, Ralph came by to visit and in a not so serious moment, asked me to join the Alvin team and train to be a pilot. I am allergic to submarines of any description and that was not going to happen. You can read about Ralph here; its a great story.
