Are you possibly using the beta verson of Windows 10 ? It seems lost fonts is a common problem with that new OS

Ideal would be of course Camera GUID information for the window.

Yep, GetWindowName () is returning NULL if user has disabled the window titles in the Prepar3D.CFG.

We have no other way to identify the view, it seems.

readerPdk->GetWindowName () function gets some attention ? This problem already affected numerous users of the Q400 under the P3D.

So we know the sound is there, it's just getting it to play at the right places..;-)

- No sound whatsoever. While FSX is loading the aircraft, it makes some strange Q400 sounds, but once the sim is loaded and the Q400 is on the ground; I have no sounds whatsoever now.

Try to press S to go out, than back to VC. Sometimes on my machine this happens too after reposition that the sound is missing till I do this

Is there anyone who has this problem permanently ? Could you please contact support@majesticsoftware.com?

The bouncing is due to FSUIPC Auto Save.  Please disable this option

 The initial single "bounce" can be lighten with the gear fix provided in this forum, we will also integrate it in the aircraft.cfg in the udpate

I appreciate the comments, but this time we will not be selling direct. It is our goal to concentrate on the development, and leave the sales to the certified distributors. The cost of maintaining the shop and the transaction fees are too high when selling a single product

No wrong, it's not 20 euros, it 25 euros plus a charge for upgrade 20 euros thats total of 45 euros. The problem is we can only buy the PILOT version the day it comes out and the point is that's a lot to pay for an upgrade, if the Pro version came out at the same time most would buy the Pro version that is 25 euros more not 45 euros more.

I hear what your saying Fanda but I still think for the people that want your product on day of release they should not get penalized because the PRO version will not be available on release.

Could it be an option to pay for the PRO version 75 euros on release day and then get the upgrade when available and not pay the 20 euro charge?

The database will be from Navigraph, and can be upgraded from there

The shared cockpit will use our own implementation, it will not be an FSX shared cockpit

We obviously can't comment on the aerosoft upgrade policies

The upgrade fee was calculated based on the manual effort required to perform an upgrade.

Due to the fact, that Dash-8 will sell via numerous sales channels, it can and will happen that the sales will not be performed through the same sales channels during the entire lifecycle of the product, as new retailers will be added, and some other removed from the distribution and therefor, the cross upgrades will also be required.

Please, understand that all of these will require manual handling, which is expensive. Hence the upgrade fee.

Please also note, that the pricing is preliminary and can vary between the sales channels. For example, there might be a way for a particular distributor not charge an upgrade fee, if an upgrade is automatic. Or a smaller fee, to compensate for the money loss due to the credit card transaction tax.

Guys, check your FS2004 root folder for a gdiplus.dll There is an addon which puts an old version of this dll where it's not supposed to be, resulting in most other addons which depend on this dll to fail.regards,Oleksiy

Hello Edin Yeah, seen that I don't know what kind of FMC ATR uses, but in Universal 1C which is in the Dash8 there is no such option. I know however, that VNAV costs a fortune to the airlines, that's why there aren't many installations of it. Hi Oleksiy or Boss :( Again, I'm talking about VNAV key on MCDU which allows to the crew to define desired vertical flight profile along the route. I'm not sure if this function should be active on real Q300 because I didn't see real a/c, but this is the case with ATR42/72. It has Vertical Navigation information on MCDU and it is not VNAV equipped. Unfortunately I'm working on Q400 so I cannot check this, and I'm new on that a/c, because it is brand new in our fleet. Hello VNAV is an option for the real-world Dash 8 Q300. An option which only a few operators have purchased, as it does not really help to operate such a slow aircraft. That is the reason we did not simulate it.The price is set high to make people read the product information (reviews) more carefully first , and judge better if our Dash 8 Q300 is what they need. This product is not really a toy for jumping into the cockpit, pressing Ctrl-E and going to the external view to see the aircraft takes off. It is a serious procedural simulator which requires a lot of knowledge to operate, therefor if it were available for a lower price, a lot of people who would not really know what to do with this product would purchase it and get upset.Hope this explains it.regards,Oleksiy Frolovwww.majesticsoftware.com

That "TRAINING" edition is for typeratings or a recurrent training for the Dash-8 pilots. Oleksiy

Hi,3 versions on that page and I would say that 299 is correct. Please note that is a Training edition and not what most FSX users would purchase.

We had a few cases when something was not working, like the engine or sound, but with some persistent communication we always got it right ;)On FSX the common case is that there are a few 3rd party addons that do block the simconnect interface from working, even when the addon itself is inactive. I must admit thought, that with FSX SP2 these problems are very rare..But it's true that it is a very complex addon, and on certain systems it may need some work to get it working. In all such cases we do not give up until we win though, because for most people who use our Q300 especially for the training, giving up on a problem is not an option as there is no other affordable software for the Q300 that would allow the procedure training at home .regars,Oleksiy

Well.. I set the price of 50 euro in purpose. Because Dash-8 is simulated up to the FTD II level, it is hard to master by the people, without the aviation background..
